What is Bobolen®?
Bobolen® Icelandic moss cough syrup is a medical device containing Icelandic moss extract, recommended for use in dry, irritating cough, sore throat and hoarseness caused by, among others, excessive strain of the vocal cords.
The medical product Bobolen® Icelandic moss Cough Syrup contains Icelandic moss extract. The mucous substances contained in Icelandic moss coat the mucous membrane of the mouth and throat, soothing irritations caused by dry air, dry irritating cough, sore throat and hoarseness caused by, among others, excessive strain on the vocal cords.
The product is intended for children from 1 year of age.
Composition
Icelandic lichen extract.
Other ingredients: zinc citrate, maltitol syrup, purified water, raspberry juice concentrate, chokeberry juice concentrate, flavour, potassium sorbate.
How to use and dosage
When used in children, the syrup can be diluted, for example, with tea or warm water.
Children aged 1 to 6 years: 5 ml (1 teaspoon) 1 to 2 times a day, depending on need.
Children and adolescents from 6 to 16 years old: 3 to 4 times a day, 5 ml (1 teaspoon)
Adults: 3 to 4 times a day, 10 ml (2 teaspoons)
Contraindications and warnings
Using excessive amounts may have a laxative effect. Do not use in case of known allergy or hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation. Do not use after the expiration date. Use according to the instructions for use. Do not use if the primary packaging is damaged. Do not use with other orally administered preparations.
The product can be used for longer periods of time if necessary. However, if there is no improvement or symptoms worsen after a week of use, consult a doctor.
