Why do we need iron?
Iron is a micronutrient needed for the normal development and functioning of the body. It plays a role in the process of cell division. It helps with the normal production of red blood cells and haemoglobin and oxygen transport in the body. Iron contributes to the normal development of cognitive function in children. Helps the immune system to function properly. Contributes to maintaining normal energy metabolism and reducing feelings of fatigue and tiredness.
Complex folates (folic acid and active folate), help in the normal production of blood and are involved in cell division. Active folate is highly bioavailable and ready for use by the body. Active folate protects people who have problems absorbing folate from ordinary folic acid. This problem can affect up to 50% of Polish women.
Action
The dietary supplement Actiferol Fe® contains a unique form of iron subjected to micronisation and microencapsulation. Thanks to micronisation, i.e. high fragmentation, the bioavailability of iron from iron pyrophosphate (IlI) is twice as high, as confirmed by scientific studies1.
Microencapsulation, a process of coating iron molecules, causes the substance to be released in the intestines rather than the stomach, so there is no gastrointestinal discomfort2.
Composition
Capsule contents: iron [maltodextrin, ferrous diphosphate (IlI) (iron pyrophosphate (IlI)), emulsifier: lecithins]; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; glucosamine salt of (6S)-5-methyltetrahydrofolic acid; pteroylmonoglutamic acid. Capsule shell: gelatine.

Directions for use
It is recommended to take 1 capsule per day. Do not exceed the recommended daily serving of the product.
The capsule should be swallowed and washed down with water. In case of swallowing difficulties: open the capsule and pour the contents into the food to be eaten and consume immediately after preparation.
